We see websites as more than bits of code sewn together; we see them as gateways that allow visitors to learn more about a person, company or idea. Crafted correctly, a website can do more than just advertise who or what you are, it can inspire visitors to want to learn more about you and what you do. And for us, we instill our heart and soul into every project that comes out of our office. We know you’ll be satisfied with the end-result, and then some. Below you’ll find the reason behind our success: our own personal rulebook that we adhere to when designing websites.
XHTML 1.0 & CSS 2.1 Standards
Every website that we design complies with the W3C’s XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2.1 standards. You may be asking yourself “what does this mean?” and the answer is a simple one: it means that your website will be crafted with the utmost care and quality known to web designers. Adhering to these standards is something that we and our clients take great pride in displaying on every website.
Cross Browser Compatibility
One of the biggest challenges that any web designer faces is making their masterpiece look the same amongst the sea of web browsers available. Unfortunately, this daunting task is enough to make many designers throw in the towel and just say “it’s not that important!” We believe that strategy is 100% wrong, and that a website that isn’t compatible with the popular browsers available isn’t a masterpiece at all. Whether the browser is Internet Explorer 6, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari or Opera, our websites will look the same.
No Cookie Cutter Websites
Each website we design is unique, and we’re going to keep it that way. All too often you see web design firms take a single design and duplicate it, claiming that it is “unique” because they’ve changed the color scheme, images, and text. To us, that isn’t fun at all and doesn’t pose a challenge at all, it’s just cheating the client out of the design they deserve.
We’re Not Afraid to Start Over
Robert Frost said it best when he wrote that taking the road less traveled makes all the difference. During our design process, sometimes the best option available is just to start over, something that many other design firms shy away from. With us, if we feel that a design has lost its spark, we’ll start over and make something new. And if that one doesn’t last, then we’ll start over yet again until we’re both happy with the design.
